Syed Javed Iqbal Bokhari, Secretary, Higher Education Department, Government of the Punjab, visited the Directorate of Public Instruction (Colleges) Punjab, Lahore along with Mr. Muhammad Naeem Ghaus, Special Secretary & Mr. Talha Hussain Faisal, Additional Secretary (E&G) on 10-09-2021 (Friday).
A detailed presentation was made by Dr. Ashiq Hussain, DPI (Colleges) on the working of his office and various activities /initiatives being currently undertaken. Secretary HED issued directions to expedite filling up all vacant posts both under initial and promotion quota. DPI (Colleges) has further been asked to submit working papers for promotion in all categories by end of September 2021. Similarly, directions were issued for field offices to focus on monitoring of development schemes and expedite cases of registration of private colleges etc .
